A powerful way to get people’s attention is to create video content. Video makes it easier to forge human connections at scale. In fact, did you know that 74% of all online traffic is video content? Users watching videos on their mobiles are increasing by 100% every year, and video has proven to increase traffic, engagement, and conversions. 

Anyone can create video content...

...but there are a few things you should know before getting started. 

The optimal type and size of video content varies depending on which social media platform you use. Be intentional about what kind of content you are creating and which platform you are creating it for; this way you are bound to receive the best results.

Pro Tip: When creating video content, always think mobile first. Videos are most often created in the format 16:9, but as most users access their social media on mobile, square (1:1) format would be ideal, as this enlarges the video in the feed.
