A new integration platform prepares the brand for international growth
Shaping New Tomorrow took Denmark by storm after their appearance on Løvens Hule (Dragon’s Den). Since then, the popular fashion brand has only continued to grow.
Today, the brand has physical stores in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden, as well as dedicated webshops in Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the USA, and a general one for the EU. But Shaping New Tomorrow is preparing for further international growth, which places high demands on their technical setup.
Novicell has upgraded Shaping New Tomorrow’s setup, ensuring it’s now optimized and tailored to the business.
Addressing bottlenecks and ERP system pressure
Shaping New Tomorrow’s previous setup was occasionally plagued by bottlenecks and issues during peak periods.
The solution was based on one-to-one integrations, with the ERP system playing a central role in almost all transactions—such as orders, replenishment, invoices, returns, and receipts.
Moreover, the brand didn’t own the previous middleware solution.
This setup led to lost transactions between systems, low scalability, and high strain on the ERP system. The latter caused transaction chaos during peak periods like Black Friday.
How we created a robust setup and unified all data
Integration platform
We developed a new integration platform that ensures all systems communicate with each other. This guarantees that all systems are constantly updated relative to one another.
Robust and fast order processing
We decoupled the ERP system from the order and replenishment flows, making the system more robust and ensuring faster order processing and a better customer experience.
Data visualization
All transaction data is collected and stored in our data lake to automate reports and visualizations in BI.
Data model
The new setup is based on a data model without one-to-one integrations.
Ownership
Shaping New Tomorrow owns the new integration platform themselves.
