Novicell is now a Shopify Premier Partner

Novicell is now an official Shopify Premier Partner, one of the highest tiers in Shopify’s partner programme. It reflects years of building and scaling complex Shopify solutions for larger businesses. And it mirrors something we’re seeing clearly in the market: Shopify is no longer just for smaller brands. It’s become a serious choice for enterprise.

What does Premier Partner status mean for you?

Premier status is awarded to consultancies with a proven track record of delivering complex Shopify projects and demonstrable results for their clients. It's one of the highest distinctions in Shopify's services programme.

For you as a client, it means three concrete things:

  • Lower risk on larger projects. Migrations, integrations, and international rollouts are where things typically go wrong. Experience at this level reduces the risk of delays and costly mistakes.
  • A team with a proven track record. The status requires certifications and a history of projects that have gone live and delivered results, not just launched.
  • Closer access to Shopify. Premier partners have direct access to Shopify's team, early visibility on new features, and prioritised support when things are urgent.

Why are more enterprise businesses choosing Shopify?

For years, Shopify was seen as a platform for start-ups and digital-native brands. That perception is changing. More established businesses and international brands are now choosing Shopify as the foundation for their digital commerce, across B2C, B2B, and setups with complex integration needs.

Enterprise commerce has traditionally been dominated by large platforms with lengthy implementation cycles and high running costs. But today, many businesses are looking for something different:

  • Shorter time from decision to launch
  • More flexible technology that's faster to adapt
  • Less complexity in day-to-day operations
  • The ability to scale continuously, in step with the business

That's exactly where Shopify has made the most progress in recent years.

From webshop to business platform

Shopify today is about more than selling products online. The platform supports advanced commerce setups across markets, brands, and channels, combining out-of-the-box functionality with integrations, apps, and a more flexible architecture.

That makes it possible to build solutions that meet the demands of larger businesses, without the heavy complexity that comes with traditional enterprise platforms.

Integrations are the real challenge

For larger businesses, the platform itself is rarely the biggest challenge. It's the integrations. ERP, PIM, inventory management, CRM, payments, and marketing technology all need to work together before a solution delivers real value day to day.

That's why we've developed our own Shopify connectors, making it easier to connect Shopify with the systems a business already uses, and to build a more coherent digital ecosystem rather than yet another silo.

Shopify in practice

We already work with Shopify for businesses including Dagrofa, Skechers, Schou, Pilgrim, Shaping New Tomorrow and Maxi Zoo. They don't necessarily share an industry or a business model. What they share is the desire for a platform that lets them move faster and with more flexibility.
